Default Going on the Tour

Hi everyone,

This is my first post and I am new to the forum. Just wanted to let everyone know that reading all the posts on the FSA forum and of course threads on other schools forums, has helped me to decide on what school to choose. I was leaning towards several schools (PanAM, Westwind, DCA etc) but after reading alot of posts and talking to each school, FSA is winning hands down, so far. I am flying down next Wed (Dec 8th) for the Tour and I am sure that will be my deciding factor. When I return, I will post a little about my impression of the school from the tour and of course what the final verdict on my school choice will be (more than likely FSA). Once again thanks for the loads of advice and information. I look forward to the Tour and maybe I can meet with some of you on the forum that are at FSA. Flight Training is a difficult thing to decide, but it is worth it in the end to pick the right school ! Lastly, for anyone out there that is reading these posts that hasn't made up their mind either let me say this: Check out all the schools if you can, don't just believe everything you read or hear. Ask good questions when you are talking to a marketing rep. And one of the reasons I am leaning more towards FSA is because I am used to the Flight Safety environment; all of my proficiency checks and even USAF formal Flight engineer training was done by FLight Safety, so if the USAF trusts them, so do I. Nuff said, let you all know how the tour went when I get back. (If anyone who is at FSA would like to meet so I could talk to you while I am there, that would be great, just PM me and let me know.)

A FRED Engineer wants to be a pilot, huh? I'm a McGuire guy on "The 10" and I have experience with both FSI and FSA, and they are two different (but great) animals. I chose to go to a less expensive school nearby, but I think I can offer up some good advice for guys in our unique situation. PM me for more!

I'm late on my suggestions, however, did you talk to any of the students? This school has had a good reputation for a long time and should do you just fine.
