I've been talking a FSA sales rep for several months (maybe Snow or one of the other FS instructors on this board can add their non-sales&marketing viewpoint). The latest word is the contract with Eagle has not been signed yet. FS & Eagle are supposed to meet around the end of the month, and hope to finalize the agreement, and get the program up and running in October. However, bear in mind, the program was originally going to start in June and keeps getting pushed back. It's expected the program will open almost immediately to non-FS grads because of the high demand Eagle has for pilots and (supposedly) short waiting list among FS grads. (Anyone from FS feel free to correct anything that's offbase)

The problem lies with Flight Safety International and American Eagle. They are negotiating future and past (money owed) simulator training agreements. When that is complete, they will move forward with the Advanced Arline Training Program (AATP) at the academy. As for the ERJ Level D SIM, I believe it is currently sitting in Texas waiting to be brought out after they finish moving the King Air and Citation Level C SIMS to another building. Then they will have the SAAB Level D and the ERJ Level D sitting side by side in the SIM bay. That will be a beautiful site. ILS

Thanks for the info guys. Please keep us informed if any new info comes your way. I am a past Step V CIME guy who is waiting to interview with Eagle if they ever come onboard. With the amount of hiring expected, I would assume that they would not as picky as ASA. Also, I would guess that the talks would be about years of commitment because the money would be paid by the students. Right?
