Accelerated Dispatch Courses

Hi All,

This question is geared toward those who have had experience with "accelerated" type dispatcher courses.

I am looking at several accelerated type dispatcher courses. All of such courses require previous aviation experience. With a CFI/CFII/MEI, would one be qualified to take these two-week courses? Admittedly, my weather knowledge is not the greatest (particularly, reading various types of charts that I am rarely exposed to).
