| What is necessary to become an airline scheduler? Is there any special training or school? Is it possible to get a job if you do not work in an airline? Thanks. |

For regional airlines they pretty much will throw you into it and teach you as you go along. There is no special training. For larger airlines, Im sure they would want some type of scheduling or dispatch experience previously. -Rob
