I was just wondering when did Ari Ben stop letting backseaters up on flights? I've taken many people up including flights up in the Duchess no problem in the past. I went up today and they said no way...can someone fill me in??

I thought so, but then why can you backseat at other flight schools?...sorry for the ignorance about all this. I mean what if someone wants to look at the school? I know when I toured the school, I backseated on a flight.

Was that no more backseater on any flights or just for the flight that you had planned for the day? I visited in early April and riding in the backseat was a large part of the decession to go to Ari Ben. Right before and after the flight is when I was able to talk to current students. Regardless I'll be head to the Aviator in August.

Sierra actually used to remove the back seats on many of their planes. No one really knows why though. The only thing we speculate was fuel savings on the weight of the seats being removed but it couldn't have been a noticable ammount of savings. Even so on the few that did have back seats we were allowed to take backseat passengers and were encouraged to ride backseat. When we got bought by KSA they put all the back seats back in, but now a couple of them don't have headphone jacks in the back ![]() Oh well. I suppose we're phasing out most of those planes though. |
