| I'd stay away from Shebles. Was going to do muy CFI training there but when I asked out the program I got snippy, sarcastic answers to my questions like: How is it possible for a CFI to teach all that material in 10 hours? Answer: They're smart! |

| Find a reputable place with several Gold Seal, Senior CFIs. I wouldn't train for my CFI in any other way. It will take you longer, although I am still on track for $5500 including flying. You'll have to do lesson plans that are real, and plan to spend a ton of time studying. That said - its not different that most CFI prep courses - but.... You might just find out that you become a CFI, not just a pilot who can pass the checkride....

| You get an airplane, I'll do it for you. Prices negotiable. I live in the East Valley, closest airport being Stellar. |
