Default Chicagoland Competitor to ATP

Hey everyone-
I'm signed up to start with ATP in late June. However, a bit of the "word on the street" isn't necessarily great about ATP, which of course I've known for awhile. I don't have a ton of money in with ATP (yet) so I thought I'd see if anyone had any suggestions for FBO training around Chicagoland. I'm obviously looking to make this a career move, and I already have college degrees (Purdue, baby. Just not aviation). So, I would like to go at an advanced pace in a quality establishment. I have my private and around 70 hours TT.
Any suggestions on a good Chicagoland FBO that offers training up through multi, instrument, commercial, and CFI(I)?
Thanks-
MD

Lumanair at KARR. Skill Aviation at KUGN. I personally have been at Skill and talked to their staff. Everyone I spoke with was very polite and gave you straight answers. There fleet is mainly Diamond equipment. They have a TwinStar for your multi training.

I can't remember pricing but I would imagine it would come out significantly cheaper than ATP.

At KUGN there is a also a flying club called Stick and Rudder which I almost joined. Great bunch of guys. They do not have a twin but I'm pretty sure they have access to a twin from somewhere else when the time comes.

I've heard nothing but good things about Lumanair at KARR as well.

I am a member at Skill. I can tell you they have a very well maintained fleet, and EXCELLENT instructors. But on the down side, they are VERY EXPENSIVE!! But the quality of instruction is the best I have ever seen. True professionals!!
