Hello, Does anyone here have any first hand experience with PEA? On paper they seem to have a good program going on (don't all the schools) but i was just seeing if anyone who is currently attending or has previously attended this school could provide me with some thoughts. I will be visiting the school on April 16th. Thanks

I've done some research this past year and I'll give a quick 1 - 4 1.) Luftansa @ Goodyear. If your already a Luftansa pilot and German. 2.) Pan Am Intrntl. Flgt Acdmy @ Deer Valley Phx. Beginer and up. Quality oriented not run and gun push you through. Singapore Air and Korea have stilate office's there. 3.) ATP @ Willims Gateway/ Meas-Phx. Very young staff, disorganized and seemingly very $ oriented. 4.) Any other FBO is the best at your own pace but, sooner or later your going to have to get in the soup and take some pressure.

Well thank you for that, but Phoenix East Aviation is actually located in Daytona Beach Florida. So does anyone have any info on this school?

It's mostly foreign students here on visas. They have a limited time to complete their training so most of the time they will be scheduled ahead of you (assuming you're a U.S. citizen). I went there for my multi commercial and got quite frustrated waiting 2-3 weeks for stage checks and checkrides. Also, it's not the cheapest school in the area. Be sure to ask about fuel surcharges. Another thing I disliked is that you have to keep a minimum amount of money on account as opposed to paying as you go. I would reccommend going elsewhere.
