Default Houston Area Time Building FBOs

Does anyone know where is the cheapest FBO to rent for time building in either single or multi time around the houston area?

Civil Air Patrol at either CXO, DWH, or IWS. The hourly rate has probably gone up in the 4 years since I've flown their planes, but it used to be $25 / hr dry (of course, if you flew a funded mission for them, it's free).

Bryan Coulter Field used to have a 150 that ran $45 / hr wet--that was in 2002; they're under new management now so I'm not sure whether or not that plane is still available, but I remember it being about the cheapest plane you could find for rent anywhere in S. Texas.

CAP has a few hoops to jump through, Form 5 check rides, you'll have to wear a CAP uniform to fly, no "none CAP" personnel in the aircraft, the squadron you join would really like you to be active in the program, It ain't a flying club anymore!!! The Air Force has made CAP tow the line lately, which is only right since they buy the airplanes and pay for SAR training!

If none of that is a big deal, then by all means join and fly, you'll meet some really great people, help kids get into aviation, and fly top notch equipment.
