| Does anyone know where is the cheapest FBO to rent for time building in either single or multi time around the houston area?

| Civil Air Patrol at either CXO, DWH, or IWS. The hourly rate has probably gone up in the 4 years since I've flown their planes, but it used to be $25 / hr dry (of course, if you flew a funded mission for them, it's free). Bryan Coulter Field used to have a 150 that ran $45 / hr wet--that was in 2002; they're under new management now so I'm not sure whether or not that plane is still available, but I remember it being about the cheapest plane you could find for rent anywhere in S. Texas. |
