Default Jet University

Does anyone have any input (good or bad) about the 290 hour CRJ Fast Track program they offer? What is the relative cost? Would it just be better to do the Regional Jet Standards Certification offered by ATP. ATP's must be cheaper (28 hrs. FTD vs. 290 hrs. FTD w/ Jet U.), but is it enough training (only 7 days vs. 13 weeks) for the airlines to hire me. I have my Commercial ME/IR with 261 TT and 100 ME. Appreciate the help!

For realz? Dood man, get your CFI You're to the good part now. The way the regionals are hiring, I don't think you're going to miss the boat. I think you should knock out a cfi ticket, get paid, and fly around.

Heck, it sounds like you might even have good access to a multi. Could you see yourself instructing in it for a while?

save your money and don't go to either of these buy a job style "CRJ fast track" programs.

This might sound crazy but airlines will actually teach you this stuff themselves and they even pay you while they do it. Isn't that crazy?

Like montanapilot said, let the airlines pay you to learn the stuff. You have plenty of multi time right now compared to some of the other low time applicants. Why not send your resume out and see if anyone bites. Other than that, get your CFI and build some time, but don't go to Jet Ewwwwwwww.

Yeah, Jet U is bad.

290 hour pilots in airline pax jets is bad.

Much info at this site if you care to do a search.

The last Jet U guy who posted here left the building.

Not much else to say.
