| I wanted to hear the thoughts of people on this forum, for someone who wants to become a career pilot is the training you can get from a Part 141 worth the price or are you just as well off with a Part 61? |

| Fundamentally, there is no advantage to a part 141 school compared with a part 61. 141 schools are certified to have reduced time requirements for training, but a solid part 61 school could be just as structured, and training actually might move faster depending on the place. It all depends on the individual school. The best thing to do might be to speak with graduates of any training programs/flight schools you're looking at and get the straight talk. All in all you're just as well off going part 61. |

The airlines don't care where you trained. They only care about what ratings you have and how much experience you have.
