| Agent Smith | Because it's usually chock full of people from regionals that you can rub elbows with and are willing to help you get an interview unless you turn out to be a big doof! ![]() Pilots from Amflight, Colgan (big time), Expressjet and Skywest had a big presence and if you met their mins, chances are someone there is going to help you get the interview.

| Last time I was there (years ago) they had a very high student/plane ratio, as well as instructor/student ratio. Made it really hard to get a plane OR and instructor. Make sure you look at the current schedule and see how easy/difficult it would be to schedule time. IMO Pinnacle is much much much better if you don't mind driving to Carlsbad. |

| I don't think they would really have a problem with instructors since the school does offer J1 Visas, therefore a constant supply of students that are at the school for a two year period and most likely instruct for half that time. The full program has the students doing the CFI,CFII,MEI in one shot. I visited the school and found it very professional. The facilities are the best I have seen at any school and this is because it is shared with an executive Jet Centre. The price is very competitive as well. This is a school I would love to instruct at when I am done my training so I might do my Instructor ratings here. Hope this helped. |

| I will be doing my training at CRQ but I am opting for Grey eagle Aviation or my second choice is Orion. I found Pinnacle to be quite a bit more expensive than these two other schools. I am sure they are an excellent facility but I have to watch the $$$. I stil can't believe Grey eagle has the Duchess for $155.00/hr wet, that's the cheapest mutli in the U.S.! |
