G-Day all. It's been awhile since I posted .., we've been really busy with the move to Florida and getting settled in but we're finally here! I started flying today for the first time in 15 yrs yesterday, although I do have my PPL, I wanted to make sure I could still remember how it's done. I'm getting a flight review accomplished and I hope to have it done by Friday so I can get started on the VA program. Overall things have been great, and I'm really happy with my decision to come to the Aviator. If you see an older guy hanging around with a green bag over his shoulder that'll be me. Looking foward to meeting everybody, see ya around! Rudy

Would Love too start a Blog, but I'm trying to focus most of my hours into studying 5 days a week, then spending quality time with the wife on the weekends. I can tell you that after having logged 4.8 hrs in the 172 on 3 flights, that the learning curve has been very steep! Decisions concerning weather, flight planning, maintenance issues, and so on have been huge learning points for me. At the early stage of training I'm in, it all has value in exposing me to real world issues as a pilot and building good habit patterns for sound decision making. In any case, my instructor tells me that I'm ready to move on to the Dutchess, so next week, we'll focus on 4 days of academics covering systems etc, then I'll begin flying for my multi add-on!
