Default Aviator's new website!

I had just stumbled upon the new website and it's awsome. Congrats on a job well done to the designers. I believe it will be a definite plus since the school is represented much more professionally than on the older site. The pictures and video clips are nice too.

Good site - very clear and informative.

I must say...those prices are very compelling. Hmmmm.

I notice that 3 months of housing are included in the Professional program. How much does it cost the student after that to live in the housing while completing the program?

It is about time they upgrade their site

Their new site is right on par with the other big players now in the flight training game. It is much easier to navigate and much more pleasing to the eye. I also like the pictures of the training area and the aircraft pictures, that is one thing that was missing before that I wanted to see. Pictures of some of the fleet

Most annoying thing on the site on the main page there is a picture of a captain and it says "Captian" very annoying. I emailed them to give them a heads up

There's another caption in the photo gallery that says "Dutchess" instead of "Duchess."

Don't know which is correct, but it oughta be consistent.

I'm sure we're still ironing out a few little details here and there on it. Making my debut on the web! (that's me flying the Duchess in the aerial shot ).

And yes, it is Duchess....

Cool, they fixed the spelling of my name, they had Manning or something along those lines. Not bad for saying the first thing that came to mind, not as cool as Neil though :-(

http://www.central.aero/ is one of the best aviation websites I have seen.

They are an overpriced FBO in Arkansas.

I just saw the new web site. I think it looks really nice as well. Whoever did it sould definitely be given a raise.

I noticed a few typo's though. I don't want to post them up here. Who should I forward the info too so they can be fixed? I'm reasonably sure one of the students did the site. I know the students were the ones who maintained the site when I was there.

very nicely done... I did the old website for Mike. I wish I knew how to do Flash to get all that working like that. That does make it look VERY professional. Good job.

Yes...agreed I like the new look as well. I'm debating between Skymates & Ari Ben. I have a thread in General forums.

Anyone want to contribute?

if you build web sites you can use Swish to do flash...it almost looks like they used that program to create the flash on the current site (similar movements).

Swish is essentially a dumbed-down version of Macromedia's Flash MX program and I self taught myself pretty easily.

http://www.swishzone.com/index.php

One thing I would caution is to not rely so heavily on java for navagation - those without it (or those people/companies that chose not to use it for security purposes) can't navigate the site.

Nice job though!
