Northwest Aviation College?

They are located in Auburn, Washington. Anyone heard anything about them?

I know their program is designed around earning a degree -- Green River Commnunity College is right by them. You can just do the flight training but it's not the cheapest. I know a few guys that have done it and really didn't hear any negatives. However, if you're looking just for the flight training go to BEFA @ Renton or Crest Airpark. Both will save you money over Auburn.

If you have any connection with Boeing (Family members that work there etc) BEFA is a great club. You pay tach as opposed to hobbs. The maintenance and organization are top notch. They have to be if their going to have 'Boeing' in their name (PR nightmare).

Wow. BEFA is dam cheap. Unfortunately I don't have any relatives working at Boeing. Thanks for the info though.

Crest has good rates, but it's a hairy little airport. Nothing wrong with that, will make a man outta ya.

Auburn Flight Service always had rates a bit above the rest for the size and area it was located in. Not sure about anymore.
