Hi Catherine, You mentioned on another post that you had studied some online test prep material where you were able to score a 97%. I've gotten some study material of my own so I can prepare for my PPL refresher, but I would really appreciate if you could point me in the right direction to some test prep material you found useful. I think it would focus my studies a little better. Thanks in advance, take care.

Hiya...wow....a topic just for me! Yes, I do practice tests online after I've studied the written test prep book that has all of the questions in it. JEP is correct...kips written is what this shows as and you can find it at: http://www.exams4pilots.org/ You choose which test, which subject areas for that test or all, and how many questions you want to do and it scores you with your answers. I do those a bunch before I take the real written. Sure, it doesn't look like the FAA written software does, but the questions are there and so are the answers and it works for me! It's not really test prep per se so much as it is practice written tests. If you want to go over some other neat stuff, NACO (the people who make the sectionals) have a webpage where you can find a PDF document of every symbol you'll find on a sectional and that's really interesting to look through when you're wondering if someone will find a symbol and ask you what it is and you've never seen it before. AOPA has some pretty neat safety briefings on one of their sites as well that go over vision/collision avoidance and some other topics as well in a nice easy to understand form and they are free to everyone, I picked up paper copies of pretty much all of them at the CFI/ESP program that the FSDO put on here. Those are the ones that pop up off the top of my head! If I think of any more good places I'll post them. Good luck with it!
