This is a little off topic but I noticed you guys have a new website which is a hec of a lot better than the one you had before. Flyguy , how much would the CMIFR, CFI,II,MEI cost me at Sierra. I already have my private. And what would the time frame be. Thanks for the help.

Not sure on the cost as fuel prices have changed things a bit since I was a student, but it won't be cheap. It was very expensive when I went through and its even more now. As for time frame, if you go at it full time and have a little bit of luck, it can be done in under a year, but if you want to be conservateive, give yourself about 18 months. I don't recommend Sierra for CFI, CFII, or MEI. It will take a ridiculously long time. If you want to get hired for the China program in Atwater, after CMEL and CSEL, go through CFI ground school, get your AGI and IGI, apply as a ground instuctor at Atwater (as a Sierra Grad you'll get it very easily) then go to ATP or a similar accelerated CFI/CFII/MEI program. Don't advertise this as your plan though. They will hire a ground instructor as a flight instructor as soon as you get your CFI, and probably won't even notice that you didn't get it there. But they won't release you to train elsewhere if you ask. Don't ask, just go, and tell them that you completed your CFI, and you're in. If you are interrested, contact Sierra Livermore and ask for Josh Britton. He'll be able to give you a better idea of cost. Haven't seen the new web site yet. I'll be sure to check it out. Good Luck!

That bus doesn't look comfortable to ride in. Pretty old paint job. If you paint it, they will come!
