Anyone train at West Air Aviation in Vegas? If so, what do you think about it? (training, aircraft, instructors, etc.)

Yes. (just did my commercial there).
It's fine.
Some of the aircraft are crummy.
None of the instructors are horrible.
It's a pretty informal operation.
Only problem I had was with a night flight I had. I scheduled a week out and no one told me the landing light had been out for a while. Had to go through several of the old 172s trying to find a night-worthy plane...none. Ended up taking an SP.

Maybe it's me, but doesn't the cp appear to have his epaulets on backwards?

Yea...Yea...It's late, I'm tired, and wnat to go home and sleep. It just looked weird at first. Any other time I have seen stripes on the epaulets of anyone; pilot, police officer, military officer, etc.... the started on the outside and the empty space was closest to the melon.

Oh well.....Two hours to go.....
