Default Federal Loans/Loans

Well I just noticed that there is a way to get a Federal Loan for training. I was just wondering since I'll already have a degree if this will eliminate me from getting an additional loan? I thought maybe it would but wanted to find out for sure. Then 2nd question is I notice there are a lot more load options on your website then others so how hard is it to find a place to finance the training? I know back in December I just tried out of curosity and got SLM on my own 15k and just was wondering there two questions. I know with a co signer I can get more money but I just wanted to see on my own what I could manage. Thanks for the help!

I know that most people here have Key Bank or SLM....I think you have to meet age and other requirements for a some of the federal money, although some of it can be gotten with a degree I believe, but it's not a great deal (well, in contrast to the cost of the whole school). I don't know lots of details as I don't work really with that end of it, but if you have any questions, check with the school and see. I got my money without a co-signer from Key Bank and covered the cost of the course pretty easily with them. I hate borrowing that much, but back home I was making $20,000 a year before taxes and trying to save up much of that was a difficult thing to do! I needed to get out of there and change careers and although I may be short on spending money for a few years, I don't think I'll ever regret it.

Is Key Bank the one that provides loans that are not elgible for student loan refinancing? If true, I'm wondering what prevents people from refinancing it to attain a better interest rate?
