Default Colgan Interviews

Aviator must be doing something right, I see a sign posted in the Dispatch department stating that Colgan is looking to Interview any of the Aviator Instructors that want to interview with them. No minimums were stated on the letter.

In reference to the interviewing with Colgan, some of the instructors from Aviator went to the interview and 2 were hired. The 2 that got hired had low time. 612 and 580 were the total times for the guys that got hired. It goes to show that you don't have to spend $60,000 to $90,000 to be properly trained to get a job. Aviator has lost 5 instructors this month. 3 have gone to ExpressJet and 2 with Colgan. Not a bad trend. The 3 guys that went to ExpressJet, one had 1000 hours, and the others with approximatley 760 hours. Go check out Aviator as a way to affordably start your aviation career. Good Luck Everyone.

Awesome!!!! I just can't wait to finish instructing and get that first airline job! Don't get me wrong, I'm looking forward to instructing, but this is all part of the process of getting to the ultimate goal and fulfilling my dream!

Give me about 4-5 weeks and I'll be one! We have a couple of other new guys just starting as well, so it's working good for us who are about to be instructors!
