Where did you here this? I don't think it's true, I guess we'll see next week.

Looks like the doors are still open and not planning on closing in a week. I hear they signed up almost 20 new students is what I heard from another instructor who's still there.

Guess your eyesight isn't that good, you might want to have your medical re-checked.

Not that I'm saying Westwind is closing because I don't know, but ATA was signing up students left and right as the administration there was silently cleaning out their desks and cashing Key Bank Loan checks.

I don't see Westwind doing that. Although some on this sight have complaints about the school (legit or not I don't want to get into that discussion - but I got out of it what I expected), I will say that the owner and most of the people I worked with there are fairly upstanding.

Family run company, did you expect anything but honesty from Westwind?

Eyesite is 20/10.... I never said I was standing across the parking lot looking at their front door. I know rumors can fly. I did hear it from a Westwind employee...

Well, the 6th has come and gone. Call me crazy but I think the argument can be settled pretty easily now. Are they still open or what?

Yep, still open and it's the 12th. And no that was not supposed to be a trick question.

Let me pick myself up off the floor. Your kidding right?? [cough] ripoff.

Nothing more than an over-glorified FBO.
