Hello. Just wondering if anyone has heard of the american flyers cfi academy in new jersey, and if its worth it. Doesnt seem like a bad price, 4k for CFI/CFII and 20hrs flight time... |

I've heard a couple of good things about their professional pilot program but nothing about their CFI school.

Despite a lot of negative things that you will hear about American Flyers (which I probably agree with) their CFI Academy is very worthwhile. I took their June 6 class last summer out of MMU. Derry, the ground instructor is extremely knowledgeable. AF's training is very expensive but for whatever reason their CFI Academy is a very good deal. I graduated the CFII and CFI-A all in the allotted time. Also, I learned a great deal. If you have 30 days of your life that you can give up you won't regret this program. Not to mention the friends you will make in class with you. PM me if you need more info.
