Default Timeline Question

This is my first post, but I have avidly read all 17 pages of the Ari Ben Aviator forum. I have about 80 hours and am almost finished my PPL. I was wondering how fast one could get through the professional program with a lot of hard work. I know the average is 6-7 months and that many have taken much longer than that. Taking into account weather and maintenance, would it be possible to get through the professional program in 3-4 months? What is the least amount of time people have completed it in? I am also looking at ATP, because the program in a set amount of time; however, it seems like you get more for your money at Aviator. Any replies would be greatly appreciated. Thanks!

Smile Pro Course

Flight Attendant,

You could do the course in 3-4 months, but you have to be willing to go home after your flight or ground lessons and study study study, you can easily get your commercial ratings done in 90 days but it is the instructor ratings that will take a bit longer if you did not keep up on your studying while you are working on your other ratings.

It's really variable. It seems to be about 6 months lately. However, it took me a year to finish mine. That seems like a long time but it went pretty quickly. I couldn't have physically finished in 3 months and kept my mental health.

When I take the plunge for the professional program, based upon the totality of evaluating each program and how they specifically apply to me, I'm still "leaning towards Ari-Ben. You've got 80 hours towards your private. Did anyone tell you within a specified time limit, you could have achieved your private. . .say 60/70 hours?

Like anything else, time is a consideration, for "time is money." Quality and aircraft availability, instructor suitability all are key as well.

. . .but you knew that already.

guys... its not rocket science... the key is to get your certificates and ratings, get your time and move on. Its possible to go from zero time to professional pilot in a year, its all on you and your motivation.

this is a great school... price and multi time is key. This place has it. Visit it and visit others, then make a decision.

Actually, I'm not a rocket scientist. . .but I do train them. During our last approach and landing simulating a shuttle landing, it's amazing watching skilled pilots descend from 22,000 feet at 15,000 feet per minute. Now those are pilots!

More of a reason to do exactly what Kailuaboy says. . .get your certs/ratings and truly fly!

I talk to a lady name Mary and she the program could be done in 4 or 5 months, but she didn't say anything about weather or planes being down.
Could it be possible doing in so little time, I mean just study everyday and take no brakes. Can anyone tell me why does the instrutor rating takes so long?

Actually, we all know it doesn't take any proficiency in any language to be able to fly. . .English or otherwise. I understood the in the post which I didn't confuse with someone being ignorant.

If anything, if there were an attempt to degrade someone with a post, the recommendation would have been to proofread one's edit before posting in order to not appear inept. Additionally, spell/grammar checks works as well. . .that is, if anyone truly cares.
