Default FED Funding

Federal Funding Programs
Ari-Ben Aviator Inc. is accredited by the Accrediting Commission for Career Schools and Colleges of Technology (ACCSCT) and approved by the Federal Department of Education to offer low interest Stafford loans to U.S. citizens. At present the school is offering the Federal Family Education Loan (FFEL) for independent students and the FFEL Plus loan for dependent students. To apply for these funding programs obtain you PIN at www.pin.ed.gov and complete the Federal Application for Financial Student Aid (FAFSA) at www.fafsa.ed.gov. You can obtain further information at www.studentaid.ed.gov. You must submit an application for enrollment to the school before applying for financial aid. For further information, please contact Cindy in our Financial Aid Department

Has anyone persued these loans for training? I'll research them as best I can. Just wondering if any Aviator students have any first hand knowledge.

As it says, give Cindy a call...she handles them right now. She's shown me how some of it works, but not really enough that I'd feel comfortable describing it and knowing I did a good job.

I know there are about 25 people or so on the list for funds at various stages of completion of the package. I think several have submitted everything and are just waiting on checks.

I've talked to Cindy and Mike a few times. They are always great! I can't imagine how busy they must be. That's why I asked you guys and gals first.
Thanks Catherine.

Default Stafford Loans

Ok here is what I found out about the Stafford Loans from Judy in the Financial Aid Department.

Due to the cost and the length of the Pro Pilot Course, Independent students may apply for a max of $1234.00 Subsidized and $1880.00 Unsubsidized for a Total of $3114.00.

For Dependent Students your Parents may apply for the Parent Plus loan to cover the rest of the Tuition but the loan can not exceed the amount of the course

If you have any other questions I would recommend contacting Judy in the Financial Aid Department
