Quick question for all of you students or former students of Ari-Ben. If I have zero time and want to land a job in the regionals, how long would it take me at Ari-Ben and about how much would it cost me? Thanks. Also, for all of you out there who have gone through the program or are current students, how do you like your training thusfar? Thanks.

First I want to tell you that you should do your best to pursue other avenues than just the regionals. I'm sure it is a long dream of yours to be an airline pilot. I encourage many to stay away from the airlines all together, it really isn't as good a job as it was just 10 years ago. Yes many people get hired and think its great (drinking the company kool-aid)and you know what it may be exactly what they want out of their career. I suggest charter which can easily lead to corprate aviation(in my opinion where the best jobs are). Or cargo which normally pays about the same or more for first year pay flying equipment much smaller.

I would say to get your PPL at an FBO first to see if you really have a passion for flying. Some guys like the "glitz and glamour" of being an airline pilot can't don't like the training necessary. As far as time and money goes, from information I've received, I would say a minimum of about 1 and a half years to ?, depends on you and hiring in the industry at the time. As far as pay I couldn't quote an exact price, since I am not familiar with Ari-Ben, but costs will run in the tens of thousands. Do some reasearch and you will find what your looking for.
