Hey Guys. I heard a rumor that Max Krull is in the hospital. I don't know if it's true or not but I would like to know. He helped me out a lot when I was there and I would like to send a card or something. Anyway. Does anyone know if he's ok? I hope all is well down there. And... since I get a million private messages asking me about the Aviator. Here's all the answers. I left there about 5 months ago. Yes, I liked it. Yes, I got my money worth. I think Mike and TJ are nice. I would consider them friends. The planes are fine. There was only 1 or 2 with GPS when I was there but I hear there's more now. Who cares though. I don't think GPS should be in training planes anyway. I did have some delays that weren't caused by me but Mike and I worked them out. The place wasn't 100% perfect but my experience was an overall good one and if I had to do it all over again I wouldn't change a thing. I met people there who I know I will have as friends for the rest of my life. And.... Congrats to Mike B. I hear he got his Commercial Multi done today. Ok.... bed time. John |

I knew people would jump to read this with that title and I really wanted to find out some info on Max. He's a great guy. And... while I was here. People email and call me all the time about Aviator so I wanted to tell others that I liked it. j |

hey john, I have been doing all my mei training with max and have gotten to know him pretty well by doing hours and hours of ground and flight training with him. He was in the hospital about a week or so ago. I dont want to put to much info of his personal medical history on the forum but he was in there for cancer. He is doing great right now and is in good health and spirits. I have a lot of respect for Max, he is a great teacher who goes out of his way to help you, and he has a great sense of humor if you get to know him....anyways thats whats up with max right now... |

Did my single I with Max....great experience. Great teacher. When I got brain freeze and turned in the worst landing of my career after a great flight, he was pissed that I had forced him to pink slip me. Damn I am still pissed about that one. Here's to a quick and speedy recovery Max, you'll be back throwing pencils in no time. __________________________________________________ ______ Yes Tinsley, Bolig passed his commercial on Friday. His single is on Tuesday. If he doesn't pass I am going to tie him to a chair and read to him from an Ann Coulter book. So he should do fine.

Thanks for the info guys. Please tell max that I said hi and I. I also did my initial MEI training with him. It was a great time and I learned a ton as well. I use a lot of the things that he taught me to teach my students. They work like a charm. Chris. I think you should tie him up and make him watch some stupid girly movie..... something like Miss Congeniality. haha. |
