Thumbs down

Program is very expensive considering what they offer.

Tiger815 went through their program, I believe. Search his posts for his thoughts.

Went to the Pompano Beach flyers back in the summer of 2002 and I had mixed emotions about it. The bad part about it was how unorganized they were. We had 6 people in our class and we didn't get to fly until week 3 b/c they couldn't get the flight schedule figured out. Due to that, none of us finished both of our instructor ratings that we were "guaranteed" to get in 30 days. Management didn't seem to care whether or not you showed up or pass your check-ride once your check for the program cleared. The good news was that the ground instruction really prepped us to go out and instruct people instead of just teaching us the check-ride. The examiner would often come into the classroom and listen to you give a lesson, which made things much easier on the day of your exam. Most of the flight instructors there were very nice and easy to work with, and once you got to the airplane they got us prepped quickly (w/in 5hrs. of flying). Overall if you wanted to get at least one of your certificates quickly I would go there, but if time was not an issue I would search my local FBO's instead.
