Default Orlando Flight Training

Sounds like another winner here. Anyone hear about this one? I seen an ad in the current months Flight Training Magazine for Air Orlando. It says PFT... oops, sorry... it says...

---------------------------------------------
Finally an affordable jet transition program: $39,995
* 0-1000hr Career Airline Pilot Package with Job Placement
* Boeing 727 First Officer Paid Internship Program / Net Cost $0!
* Private and Commercial Helicopter Including Housing $32,995
---------------------------------------------

Anyone care to comment on this school and what they are advertising here?

This is a school at this website: www.flyoft.com

Anyone here of them. They offer the 1000 Hour Pro Pilot Course for $35K. Reads real good but certainly seems to be PFT to me since the paid internship must be taking someone's seat away so they can pay you nothing. Just what I'm reading into this. Can anyone comment about this program and this school?

It's not even in Orlando. They're based in Kissimmee

Def. not Air Orlando. I've never heard of that place but I have heard a few places doing this 727 FE to FO deal before but no one seems too impressed that have tried it. Most of the companies fly cargo and the companies are far from professional. But if you have the money and want to give it a shot let us all know.

kissimmees not a bad place. pelican certainly sounds like pay-for-a-job since youd have to pay them 30k for the right to work for them in a b727. i wonder who or where those planes fly since they dont seem to say

I could be wrong but I think that it may be Capital Cargo International, they fly cargo out of FLL. I think they use several of these type of school to recuit pilots because most people won't fly for them. I guess you spend a few months pay to be an FE then an FO and if they like you they'll hire you as captain. I'm not 100% on this one though
