Hey all! I was looking through various flight schools in my area and came across a local FBO in Torrance, California (KTOA) that looks pretty promising called South Bay Aviation. Does anyone have any experience with these people? How about their instructors? I already have a private pilot's license, just looking for: Instrument, multi, CFI, CFII, Commercial..... What do you think this would all cost in a newish C-172 from a mom and pop FBO like south bay aviation as opposed to ATP? Thanks

I was heavily warned against South Bay by several ex instructors, renters, et al. Just an FYI.

That's what someone else said, but then said that it is much better now. But noone would say why I should not go there, they did not give me a reason like say bad maintaince, or something like that

Words like maintenance, crooks, unethical, bad owner came up when I was looking. That was three years ago.
