to have a CFI and/or student to fly to KILE (Central Texas), pick me up, fly back to Ft. Pierce, I visit the school, and then fly back to KILE?

I was wondering if any of you Ari CFIs would do it.I know it sounds outrageous (please spare me from flames). I was gonna ask Mike Cohen about it but I wanted to see what you guys would say first.

As far as I know, our policy is strictly only students enrolled at the school are allowed to backseat the Duchess.

So in short, I doubt it would work out. Why not fly Continental non-stop to PBI? Believe me, you do not want to sit in the back of a Duchess that long.

No way ....fuel costs alone would be a ton + IFR charts/approach plates costs for the entire route.

It would be a lot cheaper/faster to get an airline ticket.

...maybe if you lived somewhere in Florida it would be possible.

LOL..... Yes, we are allowed to take you (Prospect student) in the backseat. Yes, that would be possible. Yes, we could do it. BUT, Its not cost efficient for you if your putting up the bill.

I got to fly the Duchess solo for 55 hrs...... I flew to Louisiana one day. Took off at 8am.... it took me 5.5 hrs to get there. Thats just LA..... If i went to Texas, it probibly would have taken (im guessing), 8hrs total (one way).

Delta flys to Melbourne, which is closest to us.
Call the aviator with your flight info and most likely, ill be the one to pick you up/drop you off, from the airport. You can fly into any of these airports (whatever is cheapest for you): MCO, PBI, MLB, MIA, FLL.
