Wow, $33k so you can sit sideways for a year, then if the company that 'hires' you still exist, you get to go to three weeks of training and look out the front windows. I am going to sell my car and sign up ASAP!

[ QUOTE ] New Airline Internship Course Opens the Door to IMMEDIATE, GUARANTEED EMPLOYMENT as a Flight Engineer and First Officer [/ QUOTE ] Woop! Woop! Woop! Sorry, my warning bells were going off...... It's actually done by these guys who I think are more or less old hats in the PFT market a la Gulfstream. PEA is just a front that has associated themselves with these low lifes. Kinda like all the schools jumping on the DCA "career track" program lately. My first thought was "How can PEA get a 727? They can barely keep their own junk flying....." |

When the program started, it was for the FO slot at CAT's. now it requires a potential pilot to sit side-saddle for a time. Guess they (CAT's) were short on FE's, so to make the deal work they make it a requirement to do the FE gig first. I would consider this rather lame.

Know this is an old thread but: The chief pilot at PEA is a SCAB!!! don't expect his type to have too high standards!!! |

This was with CAT just like JetU was. Not sure what they are doing now at PEA. JetU went with PCL for placement.
