Default Air Orlando?

I came across their website and it looks like a nice comprehensive place. Does anybody have any flight training experience with this operation?

There are a few people on the boards that have some experience (I know there is at least one instructor). Try using the search function and type Air Orlando. You should definately get some results!

To my knowledge we have one current and two ex-CFIs from Air Orlando active on the boards. I did my PPL, IR and most of my ME Comm there, and it's a top notch op. If you want well maintained planes, it's one of the better places in Central FL. That being said, they charge accordingly for those well maintained, well equipped planes. They aren't as expensive as some schools I've seen ($220/hr for a DUCHESS?!??! in MEM) and their instructors know their stuff. I'm actually surpised they haven't gotten 141 status yet.

I am an instructor at Air Orlando. It truly is a top notch organization. Got any particular questions for me?

I'm working on my Commercial at Air Orlando now and did my PPL and IR there. The instructors are great and the planes are top notch can't ask for too much more.

I am an ex-air orlando Instructor... Great place to work(minus the pay), but it wasn't bad compared to other Orlando flight schools.
As far as the 141, it has been in progress for at least 3 years now, and I left a year ago... I think the motivation of the management, and origination within the management has held up the progress of the 141 status.

Like you have heard though, Great Planes, Great Instructors, Great location, Great facilities.....
