great reply buddy.... just like saying "Theres [censored] outside, go find it!" I did my training at the Aviator. Great training!! If you talk to Mike or Ari, theres no BS with them. They will tell it to you like it is. Its a very busy flight school.... new students coming in every week. We just lost another 3 instructors last week. And they were instructing for less than a year. [ QUOTE ] Just curious if anyone has gone to aviator with their ppl/inst ticket and if that saved any time? [/ QUOTE ] Well, you'd be required to get your multi-engine add-on w/ inst. privledges, and fly for a total of 75 hrs "dual" in the Duchess before you'd be able to time-build. Then, continue on through the remainder of the course......multi-comm., single engine comm. add-on, then instructor ratings. So, would it "save you time".......sure! You've already got your inst rating, so you can figure that would save you about 1 month (maybe a bit more) off the program. No way to get around the 75 hr req. though.....it's an insurance thing......it's always an insurance thing in aviation!!! ![]() Hope it helps. Matt |
