Default Life as a pilot

Hey guys, I am brand new to this forum and so far, am very pleased with how the site is ran. I have searched the internet for a long time trying to find a forum like this. Anyways, I just have a few questions that may be a little long (sorry). First, I am considering Ari Ben after much research. So, for those who have attended, how are the living quarters? How many people do you share a unit with? Next, and probably most importantly is: for those who have made it to the airlines, do you enjoy your job? Also, was it hard to find or at least transfer to an airport hub near where you live? I just dont want to move away from my family my entire adulthood. This will be one of the biggest decisions of my life and I do not want to get into a profession that I hate, especially if I am going for aviation which seems to be unstable. I know eventually the excitement will wear off but I dont want to sit in an office all day doing paperwork for a living, however, I guess that would be my backup since I am majoring in finance. One last question, are most people here married or have a girlfriend? I am just thinking of how bad the pay is especially at the beginning and I dont know if I want to get into a relationship if I cannot support her. Thanks a lot all pilots and aspiring pilots for your help.

This is probably not the best place to ask this question. You would probably have more luck in 'General Topics'.

Sounds like your thoughts are all over the place. You really should just post your Aviator (Ari-Ben Aviator) questions here, and the rest of your questions in the General topics (like that guy said).

You really shouldnt get into the pilot career if you dont have a desire to fly. Some people start doing their private and decide that it wasnt what they expected and quit. Dont dive into this if your not willing to take on the financial burden of it. I believe its well worth it for me, ive wanted to fly since i was six and could never imagine myself doing anything else but this.

PM me if you want more info on Ari-Ben.

No, don't! PM'ed Q&As defeat the purpose of the forums! Ask and answer where everyone can see!
