Default Sierra\'s Stockton facilities????

Anyone been to Sierra's Stockton facilities? How do they compare to Livermore's? Could anyone start flying from there if they wanted to? Why the separation?

I haven't been inside the facilities but have taxied past them. I'm told the facilities are pretty plush. Yes you can train there if you like, but as of now, at least to the best of my knowlege, they only do part 61 training and no multi-engine. Plus you have to come to LVK for stage checks. Why the seperation? Well KSA actually came from Stockton and expanded by obtaining the Oakland Sierra Academy. They simply kept the facilities they already had in Stockton and are doing training there. I think the main purpose of Stockton is for the foreign airline contracts which would take up too many resources at LVK. Actually we used to have a remote campus at LVK when we were at OAK that we used for the Korean Air contract. Pan Am academy took over that contract and when they left, we took back the LVK facilities and that's where we are now.
