are they not able to come up with a name on their own? Its not like we can't tell they are copying FlightSafety Academy. They even use the same font for their ads as FSI. however, reading through their website i do give em props for not making their students sign contracts that gouge students if they leave, unlike 2 un-named schools up at DVT. |

Air Safety is sweet..... you can do your ratings in a brand new Cirrus SR20 (glass cockpit, tcas, terrain avoidence) for the same price Westwind charges for 172s. I went to Westwind... had a great time there... I now attend Air Safety and I believe it is much better.

Unfortunately it looks like they require a program similar to pan am's "ACE" program. $8,000 for some BE-90 trainer time? No thanks.

Actually, I need to correct what I said. I read closer (which I probably should have done in the first place) and it appears that the BE-90 program is optional. If you look at the whole 'professional' program and the FAQ, it seems like they took Pan Am's program and fixed what everyone had problems with. That's kinda cool. Does anybody go to this school? How has your experience been? |

Does anyone have a copy of the email that Air Safety sent out their prospective students regarding the Key Bank situation? I have heard that there is some serious misinformation in this email but want to see the document myself before to rumor mill works up to much momentum. If you have it, and don't mind sharing it, either post it yourself, or PM it to me. If what I have heard is in this letter is true, I will post it, if not, then it is no big deal.
