For me I found the best thing was to be at the airport around my friends. It takes a lot off your mind. I had a similar problem with a girl last spring and I was never happier than being in an airplane.

Reach your maximum potential, and kick arse in your own life, and when you do start another serious relationship, it will be that much better, because you have allowed yourself to reach full potential.

It's natural to feel sad, and mourn and you should...Don't just try and forget about whats going on and repress your feelings. That will just be worth it in the end. Take whatever time you need, but remember to keep moving forward, and don't feel sorry for yourself....
So where are these kind of pilots and why do I only meet the jerks who think they are Maverik?

I had a guy break up with me the night before a checkride. For someone who you love and who says they love you, that's just cruel!

The guy I was dating when I left for Eagle decided he didn't want to see me anymore while I was marooned in DFW for 4 weeks. I wish he would have told me that, instead of just disappearing, not returning phone calls and avoiding me. That was the most cowardly, unrespectable way of breaking up with someone. This happened almost 13 years ago, and If I ever see him again, I'll call him a pansy-ass coward to his face.

To quote Good Charlotte:
"We break up
It’s something that we do now
Everyone has got to do it sometime
It’s okay, let it go
Get out there and find someone"
