Default Baby Almost here

It has been scheduled. Our next buddle of joy will be arriving via C-section on jan 2, unless he/she makes the emergency descent for an early arrival.

The docs are estimating a 8-10 lbs baby. Kuddos to my wife for carrying a baby that big. I would be scared to see if they let her go all the way to her due date on Jan 8.

You can't have the doc hook you up with a last minute tax-break?

Good Luck with thecoming arrival.

Happy New Year everyone! Thanks for all the wishes!.

Believe me I tried to get the Doc to hook me up. Not so much for the Tax break but for the insurance break. All my out of pocket and deductibles reset Jan 1.

I will let everyone know the outcome tomorrow night if the hospital has internet access in the room.

Good luck...what a way to start a New Year! Hope everything goes well. Tell your wife not to worry about the c-section. I had one with my twins and it was a piece of cake as opposed to natural childbirth for my first-born.

Congratulations! If this is your first baby, go buy a book called "Babywise" and use it like the bible! It's fantastic and restored sanity in our home within about 2 months of baby being born.

Our 2nd daughter arrived today via the C section 1 arrival, Molly Lynn transition.
Landing Weight: 9lbs 2oz
Blocked IN: 8:31am ET

Mom and baby are doing well. We had a minor issue this afternoon so Molly is in the nursery for observation only. Just a precaution after chocking on some amneotic fluid earlier today.

Now with three women in the house it looks like I have permanently lost the battle of the toilet seat.

Congrats - I am still trying to convince my gf to try for a baby, she says we have to get married first. I told her we would have plenty of time while the bun is in the oven.

My bet is she doesn't want to do that because she knows being pregnant (at the time of wedding) will change everything... hormones go haywire, swelling in the feet, serious crankiness (i've heard all the details)...you don't want to deal with all that AND a seriously stressed gf preparing for a wedding...

my suggestion: Think about her health first....do one first, then the other. don't add so much stress to her day.

I would not take my post too seriously - yes I want kids, but not in any particular hurry.

Do you know Boy/Girl?

Try and get some rest now.

It's a girl and it will be a C-section and along with it, a tubal ligation!

Sweet! Hopefully they will use duramorph in the spinal. It worked great for my wife. Also, if the nurses keep up on the pain meds it will help her too.

Keep us posted.
