| Old Skool | There is (or used to be) a product sold in supermarkets called, "Stain Devil," or something like that. It's in a small yellow container and comes in different formulas for different stains. Each one I used actually took out the stain it was formulated for, so if it's still on the market, give it a try! Otherwise, get a new carpet (or new 2 year old!) ![]()

| My sister-in-law told me "forget the terrible twos, wait until the f$%^&ing fours"! She was right. My son picked up quite the attitude after going to preschool and starting school. I heard it gets better when they are around 10-11 though. I can't wait for him to get out of the "know it all" stage he is in now. Don't know if this applies to girls. |

| owww... I was wondering how my DH knew how to get it off the carpet last weekend. I was super impressed when he took out the rubbing alcohol and got the stain out, then announced, "Sharpie's are alcohol based, so alcohol takes it out" He read this post - NICE!! By the way, mother of five telling you, three is WAY worse than two. Two is a warm up for three. Sorry!

| Moderator | I dunno, I'd never heard of it before! I'm just happy to hear that there IS a way to get Sharpie out of carpet! We have Sharpies (Bill likes them) and we have carpet, so chances are it's just a matter of time.......

| Old Skool | With our son (who turned two in June) I would say the "Terrible Twos" have been more of the "Typical Twos." The most frustrating for me is that he is mastering the art of selective hearing. The funniest thing is when he tries to roll/bat his eyes. Probably the most typical thing is he is not fond of the concept of sharing whether its friends at daycare or cousins playing with "his" toys. Hopefully with the next one on the way he'll learn to share.

| Old Skool | Ya know. We've gotten lucky with Gavin and the whole sharing thing. He's awesome with it at day care, and he might be a little TOO sharing at home.....especially with the dog. "Kami!....Eat cracker!" As he tries to jam a cracker in the dog's mouth.
