| Re: We’re pregnant! Or not? I want to see one of those HPT commercials where the lady says, "Umm, guess what? I'm PREGNANT!" and the guy goes, "Whu..huh? Dammit! Oh gawd! The...the big game's this weekend! It's for the state championship!"

When you and your other half were expecting, did you say that “I’m Pregnant (for you gals)” or “My wife (Girlfriend) is Pregnant” for us guys, or did you both use the newer, P.C., “We’re Pregnant”?
My wife had a very definitive opinion on the matter. She never referred to the two of us as being pregnant. She believed that the whole idea was ridiculous. She basically pointed out that pregnancy was a physical state, and that I was incapable of being pregnant, which is true. I agreed, I never considered myself, or us as a couple, pregnant. I would point out that I was going to have a baby soon, but not that I was pregnant.
How did you guys handle the situation? | ack...she's the one that's pregnant. we are expecting, but she is preggers. At least that's what I say. I just tell everyone my work was done a few months ago.....

Adoption last year was easier too. We rented to own....don't get that the HAPAI way! |

| Re: We’re pregnant! Or not? It's funny, I read the title before clicking and thought to myself, "We're pregnant? That's retarded - she's pregnant, you're just there to get the ice cream and whatnot."

| Re: We’re pregnant! Or not? Not to hi-jack the thread, but I had a screwed up dream last night that my wife and I had a kid - little boy. But she didn't want to name the kid and she almost neglected it. WTF. I'm loosing my mind in these crashpads. I've seen my wife a total of 3 days this month. Pathetic. |

I still think it "ain't" right to say "we're pregnant." Until the day I become a seahorse, I'll reject that phrase.

| Re: We’re pregnant! Or not? We said "We're expecting" and "We're pregnant"....of course...with all the (ahem) "sympaty" weight I put on during my wife's pregnancy, it was kind of true.
