Bill's sister's sister-in-law and her husband just adopted their baby girl from Guatemala. They brought her home a few days before Christmas, what a great Christmas present!
I hope your process goes quickly and smoothly for you guys!

This entire process including having to wait for delivery usually takes anywhere from 12 to 16 months. We looked at fostering to adopt, but didn't want to get attached to a child then something comes up and the child gets taken away. Going this route legal transfer is in 3 days (California Law minimum).

Good Luck! |

Good Luck! | That sucks!!!!! Not only for the mom and guardians, but for the child. I couldn't imagine my daughter having to remember and get attached to new faces. The route we are going costs a bit more but it seems worth it, especially since taxes and jobs give incentives, rebates, and deductions for adoptions.
