| Re: So how'd you meet your spouse? My buddy was hooking up with one of his teachers in college (after the class ended). One night we went to a local bar and she was there. I really didn't want to talk to the group so I started just spouting off about stuff. A girl there engaged my rant and I realized I couldn't really beat her at the whole "be annoying game."
We end up talking, dancing, one night standing......Five years later we're engaged.

| Re: So how'd you meet your spouse? We lived in the same co-ed dorm in college. The night I first met her, I thought she was someone else (who turned out to be her best friend), and she was drunk. One of our other friends wound up scaling the side of the building to try to climb in some girls window. She didn't have any shoes on, so I wound up carrying her on my back. At some point during the whole wall climbing thing she asked me "Uh, what was your name again?" Been together ever since.

We've been married now for just over a year, and I cannot tell you how important it is to be with your soul mate. | OOhhhh to live in Heidelberg... beautiful city!!! but which one has the best christlkind market???? |

Yes, finding them is the easy part.
Living with them, without tying a sack of bricks to their ankles and throwing them off a bridge is often the real challenge |

Actually it's the Christkindl market (in case you're ever in a German spelling bee )
Nürnberg's Christkindl certainly beats out Heidelburg's, but a close second to Nürnberg is the very little know city of Lübeck, which is about 60km or so from where we are in Hamburg. Second oldest Christkindl in Germany, and the area was not as war ravaged as Nürnberg, so there is more of the original infrastructure in place. Makes for a nice Christkindl! |

I found him, then morgaged my house to he could go to flight school (it was my idea and I've taken enough #### for doing it already, thank you).
He'll be paying this sugar mama back for the rest of his life. That's love right there!

| Re: So how'd you meet your spouse? Met my wife because of a UAL pilot strike!
Went to my brother's college after I graduated and couldn't get home because of the strike and met her at a student government function. Enrolled at that college in the fall for another degree. Talked some and she asked me over for pizza one night. First date was TOP GUN (I actually delayed going home at Christmas break to take her). Got married about 1.5 years later......
Shift ahead 18 years.... now 2 boys, 10 and 2.5. Lived in 6 states....not sure why she is still with me. |

| Re: So how'd you meet your spouse? I used to hang around with a large group of friends back in my Paralegal days. Two of them hooked up and got hitched (one guy one girl ).
I went to the wedding stag as I had decided that, at 35, I was destined to be a life-long bachelor and I just wanted to have fun at the reception.
At the ceremony, I see this absolutely GORGEOUS girl....with her mother...so I think she's with somebody in the wedding party, and temporarily forget about it.
Get to the reception and I notice she's not with anyone.
About half-way through the party, the father of the bride comes up to me and we have the following exchange:
Him: see that girl over there?
Me: Yup.
Him: Well hands off!
Me: Oooookaaaayyy.
Him: I'm kidding. I invited her here tonight to meet Dan (his son), but Dan's being an a-hole (his ex-girlfriend was in the wedding party also), so I was wondering if you'd ask her to dance.
Me: Way ahead of ya chief.
I ask her to dance. We end up chatting the rest of the evening. I get the digits. Our first date is the following weekend....on my birthday...and we marry 2 years later.
Oh...and our first son is named Brendan.... no Chris, Jr. around these parts.
