Born yesterday at 3:54pm by emergency c-section. Scared the Shiznit out of me. Thought I was going to lose them both, but they are both doing just fine

Our second made his way into the world under unexpected circumstances too. Ours wasn't an 'emergency' c-sec, in that it wasn't a crash situation where I was immediatly put under and Bill was removed from the room for surgery NOW. We were basically told a c-sec was necessary, and the right thing to do was sign the paper, and get it started. 1/2 hour later our little guy (3 lbs 7 oz little!) guy was screaming his head off.
Were you able to stay in the room? Bill was with me, but he couldn't (as in didn't want to ) look at anything going on, he just sat by my head with the digital camera showing me pictures of our older boy to keep both our minds off what was happening.
I was not a textbook patient. I refused the arm restraints and demanded to go home 40 hours after the section

| Re: A Little Tenney - ette? Congratulations!!! how does gracey feel about her new little sister?
make sure you continue to give her a lot of attention or she'll become attention starved and start doing "bad" things to *get* your attention!!
emergency c-sec - that must have been scary!! how early or late is Sophia from her due date? |
