Default Didn\'t think I\'d have to say this for a few more years..........

"Son, turn down your music!"

The boy has his Ocean Wonders Aquarium CRANKED. It is so loud I can hear it down the hall. He's discovered the volume knob! Everytime I turn it down, he turns it back up. I'll have to sneak in there and turn the knob down once he falls asleep or he'll scare the crap out of himself if he turns it on in the night.

I thought I wouldn't be telling him to turn down his tunes til he was a teenager!

LOL, we had our 8yr old walk up to the wife at a function a few weeks ago asking for the keys to the van. Wife had to ask him twice what he had asked for.

He wanted to get his matchbox cars out.

We actually put shipping tape (you should have plenty of that!) over the speakers of most of our kids toys having the max volume a reasonable level. You don't want them to hurt their ears at a young age. I have some minor hearing loss, they think from hanging around the field with my dad too much (1970's vintage heavy metal jets).

He's growing up fast. But atleast he tells everyone I'm a pilot!!!!

Oh yeah, taping the toy speakers is SUCH a good thing. My brother's wife taught me that trick, and I've used it on so many of their toys.
