Default airplane-themed baby room

I'm sure we're not the first to do it!

Anyone have any clever ideas for an airplane themed baby room? Our little guy is coming around 11/1 so we're trying to get the 'theme' nailed down. Thanks!

Those are just a few...once you decide on a style, do a massive search on the net using the style name and maker, to find the best deal (check ebay too!) The prices are all usually within $10 of the competition, but shipping can vary greatly! Several companies will give you free shipping over $75 or $100.

We have a crib bumper from Pottery Barn for our older son. Yes, he's almost 2 and still uses his crib bumper.

My mom made airplane curtains for our younger son. We got fabric at Hancock Fabrics and sewed them up ourselves. It's a lot cheaper than buying curtains pre-made.

I'd post pictures, but they both just went to bed and I don't want to wake them up taking pics in their rooms!

Not sure if you would want it for a baby's room, but I've been thinking about getting an airplane ceiling fan for my son's room.

Babies R US has a complete aviation set for a babies room. I have one and love it. I think our little girl loves it too, but it is to early to tell...

Oh yeah! Put a baby under a ceiling fan, and they're instantly hypnotized! It's so cool! They'll lay there and stare at it, and sometimes their little head will turn in a circle to follow it....... Hilarious.

Yes, it's the little moments in life that make it great.

That's pretty funny...we took down the fan in the baby room because my wife said babies don't need a fan!

I installed it in my study so I might not want to part with it!

Yeah, that's why we have it on our registry for the shower. Our little guy isn't due until Oct, but my wife has already bought a full closet of clothes for him though. Baby Gap clearance rack rocks!

I just got the Babies R Us one: http://www.amazon.com/exec/obidos/tg...905184-3637557

Just a suggestion--avoid "Lambs and Ivy" Brand. I had bought the toddler version of their Baby Aviator and the sheets ripped after the first wash, which made me remember the first crib set I had that also fell apart, and I realized it was also Lambs and Ivy. I know how two sets from Baby Martex and both are much better quality.

Heh, so do the Baby Depot clearances, Babies R Us on clearance, Wal-Mart on clearance and anything else you can find. We bought about 90% of Gavin's clothes on clearance, and it's a good thing, too. He's outgrowing them at an alarming rate.....

Yeah, those clearance racks are great. It is amazing how fast they grow. Emily is only 1 month old and already growing out of some of the new born outfits.

Clearance racks at Marshall Fields, Gap, Children's Place, Gymboree & Marshall's, TJMaxx, eBay, all GREAT places to score namebrand kids clothes at super-cheap prices.
