I am not sure how much he would appreciate her getting nekked. But some Budoir (sp?) photography... Now there's an idea.

One of my buddies wife had this done with her and a friend of hers together. That turned out to be a hit.

Hmmm...that could be interesting.

Everyone, I'd like to introduce my wife (PilotWife76). I appreciate ya'll taking the time to respond to her and the offering of suggestions. She's absoulutely wonderful and is truely supportive of my flying and time I spend being a mechanic.

Now the bag is open. We will have to PM the wife so hubby will truly be surprised.

Another idea is to find a nice B & B or resort area, map it out, send the map and have reservations ready when he gets back home. A little R & R can make all the sparks "fly" again.

He has a lot of his things - flight simulator program, new flight sunglasses, survival kit, headset. He loves the outdoors on top of his flying...Fishing, hunting, camping, ATV'ing. He mostly flies 172's. I would love to get him a plane but not sure exactly what he is looking for. The only part of getting flight time is that he is deployed right now and I am not sure how to get flight time for him besides giving him cash - which to me sounds impersonal. I am getting desperate since I have to send in a few weeks to get there on time and don't want to rush it.

By the way - thanks for the welcome.. I appreciate the help..

PilotWife, is your husband in the military? If so, I have an idea for a gift when he returns....

<perk> MPenguin....I would not complain about your suggestion at all. Pilotwife76 took Shineysideup's idea with the compass and a lil' saying that she added with it. I had a pretty cheesy compass in my survival vest I wear so the nicer one she got me will work out great. Thanks to everyone who offered suggestions...ya'll had some great ideas.
