| Moderator | [ QUOTE ] Bill's getting neutered! D'oh! [/ QUOTE ] Now where did I say that? No such thing is happening to either of us anytime soon. I actually had thought about getting 'tied' in the event that I had to have a c-section. It's an easy procedure to do while they're in there, but baby arrived so unexpectedly early that I/we hadn't had a chance to talk it over. I did not even bring up the subject while in the delivery room. It's not a decision to make in a hurry or without a lot of research & thought. As for him getting snipped, well, I brought the subject up once and he turned a really funny shade of ashen white. So I've decided not to pursue that avenue. I actually think we're too young to make that permanent a decision yet anyway. Tube tying and vasectomies are 'reversable', but it's not a guaranteed thing that a reversal will work. We're pretty sure we don't want anymore kids, but we're not ready to surgically commit to that! |
