Precisely, that's one of my pet peeves. Whenever anyone asks me about flight attendants and extramarital sex, I like to ask "So, are you banging your secretary?"
[/ QUOTE ]
My captain last month kept asking me who I've already gotten with? as in which Flight Attendants. By the end of our trip, I finally had convinced him nothing had happened. He then proceeded to tell me he "guarantees" that something will happen by years end.
I don't think he ever heard me say that I had a girlfriend like 1 million times. Hahahah. |

| Re: not another pilot divorce There's an awesome marketing scheme for your airline. Fly with us as a pilot and we guarantee you will score with our flight attendants! That's what they're there for.
When we're making next year's New Year's Resolutions, I must remember to ask you if you've scored with a flight attendant. |

| Re: not another pilot divorce Just in case I get misinterpreted ... the "that's what they're there for" is meant to be a part of my sarcastic, ridiculously ludicrous marketing scheme.
I did not write that under the cover that I actually believe that. It was meant to be humorous.
I'm a nice guy, really |

| Re: not another pilot divorce If an airline has to market itself to pilots... wait, time for another "Doug Taylor analogy that hardly make sense"-moments.
Ahem, if a adult film company has to market for male actors, chances are, you're not going to enjoy working with your cast. |

This is kind of funny.......My good friend works for Skywest as a flight attendant she can't believe how promiscuous some of the pilots are. And the worst part, most of that hit on her and want to do something are either married, engaged, or has a girlfriend. |

The following is a link to a book that my old flight instructor and pilot buddy of mine from Germany brought me as a gift when they were passing through Michigan and we met up. Just thought I'd throw some more fuel onto the flight-attendant-sex-object fire. Don't kill me - I didn't buy the book, it was a gift and how could I refuse a gift? Flight Girls
I looked for info on this in English but couldn't find it. Basically the book description just says that male fantasies are simple: they see a flight attendant and imagine her naked. That's what the book delivers. But the pages are thick and glossy, so it's art and not pornography!
Don't shoot me, I'm just the messenger. |

| Re: not another pilot divorce Funny, it seems to start early in the pilot career. I'm currently in training for an airline, and we are having lots of classes with the new flight attendants. They sure are cute! Anyhow, occassionally, some of the pilots (me occassionally, too) go out to dinner with the young ladies. It's all innocent fun. But I've got to admit, it would be tempting
Some of the other guys in my class went out late the other night with the girls, and I'm sure something went of with some of them. Can you blame them?
I see it this way...a mid thirties guy who is on the ladder to success and a young pretty girl...sounds like a good match to me.
Problem is when the thirties pilot guy already has a wife and kids at home. I didn't even go out that late night...don't need the temptation. Call me weak, but you just never know what's going to happen when you mix alcohol and cute girls...better to stay away.
Like the old saying goes, just cause you're on a diet, doesn't mean you can't look at the menu. Just make sure you don't order the main course! |

| Re: not another pilot divorce "Incidents" occur way more often in training, to my experience. You have more free time and there are more of you in the same place...
Be aware though, that those who spend too much time on "Incidents" often have trouble completing training. |

What's more hypocritical? Doing that above? Or judging someone by holding them to standards you don't follow yourself?
Now I'm not talking about YOU Doug, but I hate it when someone tells me something I'm doing isn't very "Christian" when they are not!
My usual snappy answer is "what do you know about being Christian?"
Remember that Christians aren't any better than anyone else, they've just asked to be forgiven! |
