| Moderator | Yikes! I think I finally actually came to the reality that we're having another baby in a few weeks. ![]() Bill was home, so he drug up the bins of newborn-baby stuff & clothes that had been packed away in the basement since our older baby outgrew them. I've spent the day washing little-bitty clothes and starting to panic. Not to mention the fact that I feel so freakin' BIG it's not even funny. Get this child out of me. Now. How are all you other expecting JCers coming along? Those with newborns.....updates! |

| Old Skool | Nessa's having the "get this thing OUT" right now. Went to the doc on Mon, and it's all good. She's right where she needs to be on weight and size. We start two week visits now. Checked out the hospital, and while it's not our first choice, beggars can't be choosers. We've got the crib, stroller and car set along with lots of clothing. We found some crib bedding at Target with airplanes on it, so that came home, too. For those that have extra cash to donate to the "Welcome Gavin Fund" click here. ![]() |

| Wife suddenly went from looking pregnant to "holy s@#t she looks pregnant" last week and is very cranky about it. We're still a few months off yet . . . not yet to the "get this thing out of me" stage yet. |

| Moderator | Never did the monthly belly shots. There are VERY few pictures of me pregnant with either baby. (With the notable exception of my 10-year class reunion picture a month before having baby #1.....bleh.) I hate the way I look, and I DO NOT want it memorialized for the future! Tell Nessa I understand completely, and there is no other joy like putting on your old 'real' jeans again! I am SO looking forward to the upcoming day (in a few short weeks I hope) that I can pack up the maternity clothes and sell them on eBay. Or actually, if there's any JCer out there who's newly pregnant or becomes so in the next couple months, let me know and we'll work out a deal! |

| Old Skool | We're saving everything "just in case," although she's been pretty serious when she says "I don't want Gavin to be an only child, but I REALLY don't think I want to go through this again." |

| Old Skool | Amy and I just hit the half-way mark. She just had a physical with the doc and apparently there's nothing to cause concern. |

[/ QUOTE ] There was a post on another chat board I participate in, and it started with one of the ladies saying how much she loves being pregnant. So far it's about half love it and half would (to quote ROFCIBC) "rather be nibbled to death by ducks" than go through it again. Basically I consider it a labor of love I endure to bring my kids into the world. It sucks, big time. But it does pass. Bill and I both grew up with one sibling, we'd talked about it before we even got married and we knew we wanted two. Really, it doesn't matter how many kids you have (or any at all for that matter), the important part is to be happy with your family, no matter how many people are in it! Bill wants to save everything, in case of an 'accidental' #3. But I'm ready to sell it all as we're done with it! |

| Agent Smith | If you don't want #3, you're going to have to resist Bill's soap-star good looks! He doesn't really want to snuggle, Amber, that's just a bait-and-switch technique we use. |

| Old Skool | I have one brother, and Nessa has two. She was the "accidental #3" in her family since her youngest brother is 7 years older than her. Her older brother was graduating HS when she was learning to walk. We talked about it a couple of years ago, and we both want at least two. However, I told her that since she has to endure the pain and suffering, it's gonna be her call. I don't want to force anything on her. |
