Default Line of baby clothing

Perhaps the JC merchandise section ought to capitalise on this market and produce baby apparel and bottles, and diapers, and pascifiers, and bibs, etc.

Heh, I'd buy.

On the same note we cleaned Babies R Us out of airplane clothing that was on clearance. Gymboree (or however you spell it) has some decent clothes, but he won't be old enough for those for about a year or more.

I capitalize on the "handmedown" brand.

HECK yeah!

Don't turn up your nose at handmedowns! Kids rarely 'wear out' clothes before they out grow them. I've gotten stuff from my brother's wife and from my husband's sister. Because of their generosity we've spent a fraction of what other people we know have spent outfitting their kids.

Also I've recently discovered an online 'classifieds' where I put up a crib for sale, and it was sold within one hour of posting. I bought a Little Tikes workbench toy that retails for $30 for $10. There's TONS of ways to save $$$ when it comes to baby stuff.

Some people sell Gymboree clothes on Ebay. They tend to be MUCH cheaper there than in the overpriced store......

We too will gladly accept items of clothing for the Hand Me Down store.

I would also suggest you guys check out www.freecycle.org and join a group in your area. It's basically an online give away site where you offer up old stuff you have hanging around that you don't want and people offer up stuff they don't want. I've seen a ton of baby items on there and it's all free.

[/ QUOTE ]If we could find out more about how the whole merchandizing/logo things go using your own online store - we'd probably do that... but we haven't yet had time and cafepress only sells certain items

considering they'd be new items & not handmedowns.. it'd probably end up being too expensive for baby as well - I dunno, i'll have to do some reasearch there.

The onesee & bib are the only baby items cafepress currently has...

Probably not any more expensive than some of the clothing on ThinkGeek, and I know we bought some stuff from there. Hot Topic isn't exactly a discount outlet, either.
